Quiz Competition held at Mussoorie MPG College; Priyanshi emerges winner


By Sunil SonkerMussoorie, 22 Jan: A knowledge-enhancing quiz competition was organised at the Mussoorie MPG College campus under the joint auspices of the All India Students’ Council (ABVP) Mussoorie unit and the college student union. Students from various faculties of the college enthusiastically participated in the competition and showcased their intellectual abilities. Priyanshi Panwar secured the first position with a brilliant performance, while Saloni Chauhan came second and Renam Panwar secured the third position. As soon as the winners were announced, the college campus resonated with thunderous applause.
On this occasion, College Principal RPS Chauhan, addressed the participants and said, “Such competitions strengthen the intellectual development of students, as well as their logical thinking, self-confidence, and competitive spirit. In today’s time, not only curricular knowledge but also general knowledge and an understanding of current affairs are extremely important.” He appreciated the ABVP and the student union for organising the event.
Present at the programme were city secretary of the All India Students’ Council, Saurabh Khanna, professors Sunil Panwar, Shipra Shah, Dinesh Jaisali, Narendra Singh, university representative Ashutosh Joshi, student union vice-president Anuj Panwar, Pawan, Vansh Thapli, Adarsh Bhandari, and many other students and teachers. The organisers stated that similar educational and creative programmes will be organized in the future to promote the all-round development of the students.
