Dehradun: The Sathya Sai Seva Organisation Uttarakhand will organise a Mega Free Heart Health Screening and Medical Camp on Sunday, November 1, 2026, at Sai Grace Academy International, Raipur Road, Dehradun. The initiative aims to promote heart health awareness and make preliminary cardiac screening and specialist medical consultations accessible to the public free of charge.A team of experienced specialist doctors from Rajkot and Ahmedabad in Gujarat will participate in the camp. Modern medical equipment and diagnostic facilities will be available to facilitate preliminary examinations of people experiencing heart-related symptoms, those with a family history of cardiovascular disease, and individuals seeking preventive heart health check-ups.Following the examinations, patients will receive medical advice and guidance regarding further investigations and treatment, wherever necessary. All services provided under the camp will be free of charge.Service to Humanity Is Service to GodColonel Yogendra Singh, President of the Sathya Sai Seva Organisation Uttarakhand, said the organisation remains committed to serving humanity and supporting people in need. Guided by the principle of “Manav Seva Hi Madhav Seva” (Service to Humanity Is Service to God), the organisation has been undertaking various community welfare and service initiatives. He said changing lifestyles, unhealthy eating habits, physical inactivity and stress can contribute to an increased risk of cardiovascular diseases. Many people tend to ignore early warning signs and delay seeking medical advice. Timely screening, awareness and consultation with qualified medical professionals are therefore important for maintaining heart health. He added that the camp has been planned to encourage people to pay greater attention to their health and seek appropriate medical guidance.Public Urged to ParticipateColonel Singh expressed hope that a large number of people would take advantage of the free medical facilities. He particularly encouraged people experiencing heart-related discomfort and those concerned about their cardiovascular health to attend the camp.He also appealed to media representatives, social organisations and members of the public to spread information about the initiative so that more people could benefit. He emphasised that anyone experiencing a serious or potentially life-threatening medical emergency should seek immediate medical attention rather than wait for the camp. With the message “Healthy Heart, Healthy Life,” the organisation has urged citizens to participate and make use of the free screening and consultation services.Representatives Attend Press ConferenceDeepak Nautiyal and Ajay Swaroop, representing the Sathya Sai Seva Organisation Uttarakhand, along with Samarjeet Singh, Managing Director of Sai Grace School, were present at the press conference held to announce the camp. The representatives highlighted the importance of public awareness, preventive health check-ups and collective efforts to ensure that people who need medical assistance are informed about the initiative.Camp DetailsEvent: Mega Free Heart Health Screening and Medical CampDate: Sunday, November 1, 2026Venue: Sai Grace Academy International, 10 Raipur Road, DehradunOrganiser: Sathya Sai Seva Organisation UttarakhandMedical Team: Specialist doctors from Rajkot and Ahmedabad, GujaratFacilities: Preliminary heart health screening, medical consultations and guidance regarding further investigations and treatmentCharges: Free of chargeThe Sathya Sai Seva Organisation Uttarakhand has appealed to citizens to share information about the camp with their families, friends and those who may benefit from the services.
