Special Health Camp held at Lok Bhavan, Nainital

Nainital, 25 Jun: A one-day Special Health Camp was organised at Lok Bhavan, Nainital, for officers, employees, and their family members. The objective of the camp was to facilitate the early detection of various health conditions through regular medical examinations and to promote awareness regarding preventive healthcare and overall well-being.
Governor Lt General Gurmit Singh (Retd) visited the health camp and reviewed the arrangements. He interacted with doctors and healthcare personnel to obtain information regarding the medical facilities and health screening services being provided. The Governor also met with officers, employees, and their family members attending the camp, enquired about their well-being, and encouraged everyone to remain vigilant about their health.
During the camp, specialist doctors from BD Pandey District Hospital conducted approximately 150 health examinations and performed 15 ECG tests. Participants were provided with necessary medical consultations, health advice, and guidance on maintaining a healthy lifestyle.
The camp offered specialised consultations and health screenings by Cardiologist Dr Sudhanshu Singh, General Physician Dr Abhishek Gupta, General Surgeon Dr Shadan Ali, Ophthalmic Surgeon Dr Deepika Lohani, Pathologist Dr Priyanshu, and Psychiatrist Dr Garima. The experts provided diagnosis, counselling, and medical advice related to a wide range of health conditions.
On the occasion, the Governor emphasised that a healthy lifestyle, regular health check-ups, and timely medical consultation play a vital role in preventing serious illnesses. He stated that the good health and well-being of every member of the Lok Bhavan family remains a priority, and similar health camps will continue to be organised periodically in the future.
The Governor also felicitated seven healthcare personnel from BD Pandey District Hospital for their outstanding services. He expressed his gratitude to all doctors and healthcare workers who contributed to the success of the health camp and commended their dedication, commitment, and spirit of service.
