Dehradun, 13 Mar: A special programme for women was organised on Friday at the Community Hall of Lok Bhavan Residential Colony here with great enthusiasm and traditional spirit. First Lady Gurmeet Kaur participated in the event and had a warm interaction with the women present.
Cultural performances organised on the occasion created an enthusiastic atmosphere throughout. Women actively participated in various activities during the event.
On this occasion, Gurmeet Kaur said that all the women living in Lok Bhavan are like one family. She emphasised that everyone should live together with mutual cooperation, love, and harmony. She also urged the women that, if anyone faces any kind of difficulty, they should share it without hesitation so that solutions can be found collectively.
She further said that keeping in mind the health and fitness of women, a special fitness camp for women will be organised in the near future, which will encourage them to adopt a healthy and active lifestyle.
She added that such events serve as a medium to strengthen dialogue, goodwill, and social unity among people, and through collective participation, they spread positive energy in society.
On the occasion, Finance Controller Dr Tripti Srivastava, Dr Pranjali Thapa, and other women were also present.
