St Jude’s School celebrates 32nd Annual Speech & Prize Day

my uttarakhand news BureauDehradun, 24 May: St Jude’s School celebrated its 32nd Annual Speech & Prize Day on 22 and 23 May with great enthusiasm. The Junior Section (Nursery to Class V) programme was held on 22 May, while the Senior Section (Classes VI to XII) programme was held on 23 May at the Jonty Multipurpose Auditorium.
The Chief Guest for the Junior Programme was M Gardner, Principal, St Jude’s School, who encouraged students to become kind, resilient and compassionate individuals. The Chief Guest for the Senior Programme was Ashok Verma, a respected public representative and social leader from Dehradun. Several distinguished guests, members of the Board of Governors, parents and well-wishers attended the event.

The programme began with the distribution of Academic Prizes. Rupanshi Gupta topped the ICSE Board Examination with 98%, while Prakshal Jain topped the ISC Board Examination with 98%. Students who excelled in Academics and National Level Competitions were felicitated.
In her Annual Report, M Gardner highlighted the Academic, Cultural and Co-curricular achievements of the School and emphasised the importance of discipline, resilience, compassion and strong values in shaping the future of children.
The cultural programme added colour and vibrancy to the celebration. The audience enjoyed energetic dances, melodious choir performances and spectacular stage productions. The Junior Section presented performances such as the Hip Hop Welcome Dance, Colours of Life, Original and the play Ali and the Bandits. The Senior Section showcased inspiring performances including Hope – From Darkness to Light, The Great Jungle Dance Safari, The Lost Generation and the humorous play Rinse the Blood off My Toga.
The event concluded on a patriotic note with the singing of the National Anthem.
