On March 30, light to moderate rain, accompanied by thunder, is expected at numerous locations in the districts of Uttarkashi, Chamoli, Bageshwar, and Pithoragarh. The remaining hilly districts will experience light to moderate rain at a few places. Snowfall is expected in these districts at altitudes of 3,300 meters and above. The plains districts are expected to see very light to light rain at isolated places. The Meteorological Department has issued an ‘Orange Alert’ for this day.

The month of March will also draw to a close with rain. According to the Meteorological Department, on March 31, light to moderate rain is expected at isolated places across all the hilly districts. Snowfall is once again expected on this day at altitudes of 3,300 meters and above.
