Ranikhet (Almora), 1 Feb: The Bharatiya Bauddhik Pariksha–2026, organised by the Vidya Bharati Higher Education Institute, was conducted successfully on 31 January at Government PG College, Ranikhet, which served as the nodal examination centre. Students from Ranikhet and nearby rural and hilly regions participated with enthusiasm and discipline, highlighting the growing academic awareness among youth from remote areas.
Despite the cold weather, students reached the examination centre on time and maintained exemplary discipline throughout the process. All academic and administrative arrangements were made in strict accordance with the prescribed guidelines, ensuring a smooth, fair, and transparent examination. The use of mobile phones, calculators, and other prohibited materials was strictly restricted to maintain the integrity of the examination.
Nodal Officer Dr Bharat Pandey stated that the examination aims to move beyond rote learning and encourages students to develop understanding, logical reasoning, and analytical thinking. He added that the active participation of rural and hill-area students clearly demonstrates that intellectual ability is not limited by geographical location.
Dr CS Pant observed that such examinations play an important role in strengthening analytical skills and building self-confidence among students, which supports their overall academic growth.
Expressing satisfaction over the smooth conduct of the examination, Principal Prof Pushpesh Pandey said that students from rural backgrounds have immense potential, and when provided with proper opportunities, guidance, and a supportive environment, they perform with confidence and competence. He emphasised that initiatives like the Bharatiya Bauddhik Pariksha contribute significantly to the intellectual empowerment of rural youth.
After the examination, certificates were distributed to all participating students, recognising their efforts and encouraging them to continue their pursuit of academic excellence.
The successful conduct of the examination was made possible through the coordinated efforts of Dr CS Pant, Dr Komal Gupta, Vinod Tiwari, and Shankar Kwerbi, whose support ensured discipline, order, and a peaceful atmosphere at the examination centre.
Overall, the examination reflected how well-planned academic initiatives can provide meaningful platforms for rural students, helping bridge educational gaps and promote inclusive intellectual growth.
