The OASIS hosts Sewa Sankalp Abhiyaan activities

Dehradun, 28 Sep: The OASIS, Dehradun, organised a series of activities under the Sewa Sankalp Abhiyaan 2026–27, in accordance with the directives of the Department of School Education, Government of Uttarakhand.
Present were MLA Umesh Sharma and Chief Education Officer, Dehradun, Dr Govind Ram Jaiswal, as Guests of Honour. The dignitaries visited various venues where the competitions and activities were being conducted and interacted with students along with the Principal, Dr Sanjiv Bathla, and Head, Senior School, Dr Vineeta Sharma.
Chairman Rakesh Oberai and Director Raghav Oberai welcomed the Guests of Honour with bouquets and tokens of gratitude.
Addressing the students, MLA Umesh Sharma and Chief Education Officer Dr Govind Ram Jaiswal motivated them to become self-reliant and responsible citizens. They emphasised the importance of Swadeshi, Indian products, skill development and the Make in India spirit, urging the young generation to contribute actively to the country’s progress.
The programme focused on the theme “India of My Dreams – Viksit Bharat 2047” and aimed to sensitise students towards their role in nation-building, self-reliance, Swadeshi and healthy living.
Students participated enthusiastically in an Art and Painting Competition on “India of My Dreams”. Essay writing competitions were also conducted in English and Hindi, giving students an opportunity to articulate their vision for India’s future.
A range of sports competitions and fitness activities were organised under the Fit India Movement, promoting physical fitness, discipline, teamwork and healthy lifestyles.
The programme reinforced the message that the India of 2047 will be shaped by today’s students. As highlighted during the student address, “Today we are students, tomorrow we will be the strength of India.”
