U’chal University & India Glycols Ltd sign MoU to foster Industry–Academia Collaboration

Dehradun, 3 Jun: As a step towards strengthening industry–academia collaboration and promoting innovation-driven research, the Uttaranchal Institute of Pharmaceutical Sciences (UIPS), Uttaranchal University, signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) today with India Glycols Limited (IGL), Selaqui, one of India’s leading sustainable manufacturing and specialty chemical companies.
The MoU was signed in the presence of University President, Jitendra Joshi; Vice President Ankita Joshi; Vice-Chancellor Prof (Dr) Dharam Buddhi; Pro Vice-Chancellor Dr Rajesh Bahuguna, Registrar Dr Anuj Kumar Rana, Director, UIPS, Prof (Dr) Vikash Jakhmola, Prof (Dr) Shradha Bisht, Deputy General Manager Dr Shuiab Khan, Dr Prashanth and Dr Abhimanyu. India Glycols Limited, Selaqui, marking the beginning of a strategic partnership aimed at enhancing research excellence, skill development, industrial exposure, and translational outcomes in pharmaceutical sciences.
The MoU aims to strengthen industry–academia collaboration through joint research projects, internships, consultancy, knowledge exchange, and curriculum enhancement. The partnership will promote innovation, industry-oriented learning, and product-focused research while creating opportunities for sponsored projects. It is expected to enhance student skills, research capabilities, and industrial engagement, reflecting the shared commitment of Uttaranchal University and India Glycols Limited to advancing excellence, sustainability, and innovation in pharmaceutical and industrial research.
