PIONEER EDGE NEWS SERVICE/Haridwar The Jammu and Kashmir lieutenant governor Manoj Sinha said that unprecedented changes have taken place in the nation during the recent years with the nation now the fourth biggest economy of the world. He said that youths are playing a crucial part in taking the nation forward, adding that the religious fraternity is working to strengthen Bharatiya culture and binding the nation in unity. He was speaking at a Sant Sammelan at Bharat Mata Mandir in Haridwar on Thursday. Speaking on the occasion, chief minister Pushkar Singh Dhami said that steps like the implementation of the Uniform Civil Code and a law against religious conversion, among others, were implemented in Uttarakhand to conserve its original form and protect Sanatan Dharm. He said that the establishment of Bharat Mata Mandir by Brahmagiri Maharaj was a step towards preserving Sanatan culture and traditions. He was made an Acharya Mahamandaleshwar in the 1998 Kumbh Mela, after which more than 10 lakh persons have taken Diksha as Naga Sadhus. Dhami said, “The State government has taken stern steps like implementing an anti-conversion law, a strict anti-riot law and taking stern action against actions like land, love and spit Jihad in the State. The implementation of the Uniform Civil Code (UCC) in the State has ensured uniform laws for all citizens in Uttarakhand. A strict anti-copying law has also been implemented to secure the future of the youths, following which more than 28,000 youths have been appointed to government jobs in a transparent manner.” Dhami further said that an era of cultural revival has started under Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s leadership. The construction of the Ram Mandir in Ayodhya and the Badrinath master plan are important steps towards once again establishing the nation as a “Vishwa Guru”, he said. The Madhya Pradesh CM Mohan Yadav said that the Bharat Mata Mandir is a symbol of cultural awareness on the banks of the Ganga.
