The Uttarakhand Legislative Assembly’s budget session is underway at the Assembly in Bhararisain, Gairsain. Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami presented a budget of ₹1,11,703.21 crore for the year 2026–27. The budget places special emphasis on new schemes, infrastructure, and employment generation. Prioritizing inclusive development, self-reliance, rapid growth, innovative thinking, advanced villages and cities, public participation, economic empowerment, and a just system, the budget’s development direction is centered around the themes of Kedar and Manas, focusing on skill development, ecological conservation, heritage preservation, infrastructure development, and reverse migration.
