The Uttarakhand Legislative Assembly’s budget session is underway at the Assembly in Bhararisain, Gairsain. Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami presented a budget of ₹1,11,703.21 crore for the year 2026–27. The budget places special emphasis on new schemes, infrastructure, and employment generation. The Dhami government has described it as a budget based on the “SANTULAN” model.

Prioritizing inclusive development, self-reliance, rapid growth, innovative thinking, advanced villages and cities, public participation, economic empowerment, and a just system, the budget’s development direction is centered around the themes of Kedar and Manas, focusing on skill development, ecological conservation, heritage preservation, infrastructure development, and reverse migration.

During the budget session of the Uttarakhand Legislative Assembly, Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami presented the budget for the year 2026–27. This year, the state’s total budget size has been set at ₹ One Lakh Eleven Thousand Seven Hundred Three Crore, which is 10.41 percent higher than the previous financial year. The government has described this budget as focused on development, employment, tourism, and strengthening infrastructure.
