Weather conditions in Uttarakhand are expected to change, with light rainfall forecast in several hilly districts and snowfall likely in higher-altitude areas. The changing weather is expected to bring down temperatures across both the mountainous regions and the plains, ushering in colder conditions across the state. According to the forecast issued by the Meteorological Centre, light rainfall is likely in parts of Uttarkashi, Rudraprayag, Bageshwar, Chamoli, Nainital, Almora, Pauri, Champawat and Pithoragarh districts. Snowfall is also expected in areas situated above 3,500 metres, potentially bringing a further chill to the higher reaches of the state. Meteorologists indicate that the rain and snowfall could lead to a noticeable drop in temperatures. Colder conditions are likely to be felt during the morning and evening hours, with lower temperatures potentially persisting throughout the day. Meanwhile, the weather remained largely clear on Tuesday, with bright sunshine reported across Uttarakhand. The daytime sunshine helped keep minimum nighttime temperatures close to normal levels. With rainfall and snowfall forecast in parts of the state, residents may experience a shift towards colder weather in the coming days.
