Thunderstorms accompanied with lightning and very intense to extremely intense spells are very likely to occur at isolated places in these three districts. The centre has further issued an orange alert (Be Prepared) regarding the possibility of heavy to very heavy rainfall very likely to occur at isolated places in Pauri, Pithoragarh, Bageshwar and Almora districts. Thunderstorms accompanied with lightning and very intense to extremely intense spells are very likely to occur at isolated places in Pauri, Pithoragarh, Bageshwar and Almora districts. A yellow alert (Watch) has also been issued regarding the possibility of heavy rainfall likely to occur at isolated places in Tehri, Dehradun, Rudraprayag, Chamoli and Haridwar districts. Meanwhile, on Sunday, the provisional State capital Dehradun is forecast to witness a partly to generally cloudy sky. Few spells of light to moderate rain/thundershowers are likely to occur, of which one or two spells may be intense/heavy in some areas. The maximum and minimum temperatures are likely to be about 33 degrees Celsius and 25 degrees Celsius respectively in Dehradun today.
