
The weather is expected to change in the mountainous regions of Uttarakhand on Saturday. According to the forecast issued by the Meteorological Center, a yellow alert has been issued for thunderstorms with winds of 40 to 50 kilometers per hour, accompanied by lightning, in some areas of Uttarkashi, Rudraprayag, Chamoli, Bageshwar, and Pithoragarh districts on 14 March.
However, the weather will remain dry in other districts. On Friday, temperatures rose sharply from the plains to the mountains. The maximum temperature was recorded at 32.0 degrees Celsius, five degrees above normal.
While the minimum night temperature was recorded at 16.7 degrees Celsius, four degrees above normal. In the mountainous region of Mukteshwar, the maximum temperature was 23.1 degrees Celsius, six degrees above normal, and the minimum temperature was 9.3 degrees Celsius, four degrees above normal. Similar conditions prevailed in other areas of the state. In the coming days, light rain and snowfall are predicted in the high altitude areas of the state until March 19th.
