Dehradun, 11 Jan: A free winter camp organised by HaritaDhara Research Development and Education Foundation concluded today. The youth coordinator of the institution, Prayanshi, shared ideas with the students about career goals and talked about coding, app development. She conducted sessions on coding and mobile app development.
The Director of the institution, Anant Bhaskar Garg, told the students about AI, time management, traditional water resources, e.g., gharat, naula, dhara, water conservation, and exam tips. How traditional knowledge can be used to protect, save, and preserve the environment and natural resources.
Dr Manisha held sessions with students about biodiversity; how it is important and useful in life. Information was given about the National Park of Uttarakhand, Ramsar Site and Asan Wetland. From these sessions, the students got information about why forest conservation and animal conservation are important.
On the occasion of Youth Day, children were told about the life of Swami Vivekananda. The students of the GOAL Programme participated. On the occasion of New Year, students took oath for saving the environment, plant, protect trees, and reduce waste. The programme wass successful because of Prayanshi, Vaishnavi, Santhoshi Rawat, Sweety, Kanika Farswan, Vijay Kumar, Suman, Sushma, Payal, and other students of GyanDhara (GOAL) programme.
