Dehradun, 27 Jul: In a display of strategic brilliance and mental stamina, students from the Bajaj Institute of Learning for the Deaf have brought home a massive haul of medals from the 12th Uttarakhand State Deaf Chess Championship. The prestigious state-level tournament, organised by the Uttarakhand Sports Society of the Deaf, concluded on 26 July. It brought together the finest minds from across the region, but it was the prodigies of the Bajaj Institute who truly stole the spotlight, securing top podium finishes across multiple intense rounds of competition.
The young masters outmanoeuvred their opponents with absolute precision, showcasing incredible talent across all age categories: Gunjan – 1st Position (Sub-Junior); Ojas Dobhal – 2nd Position (Sub-Junior); Vikash – 3rd Position (Sub-Junior); Apurva Nautiyal – 1st Position (Junior); Aditya Singh – 1st Position (Junior); Abhay Prakash – 2nd Position (Junior); Devansh – 3rd Position (Junior).
