PIONEER EDGE NEWS SERVICE/ New Tehri A helicopter operated by Trans Bharat Aviation was forced to make an emergency landing in the fields of the Satyo-Sakalana area this morning after developing a technical issue while flying over the Chamba-Arakot region. A total of six people, including the pilot, were on board the chopper, and all are safe. Police informed that the helicopter was en route from Badrinath Dham to Dehradun. During the flight, the helicopter’s rear section got damaged after it came into contact with a high-tension power line. Preliminary investigations confirmed that all passengers are safe. Now a detailed probe into the cause of the incident is being carried out by the technical and aviation agencies concerned.
