Wednesday, 01 May 2024 | my uttarakhand news | DEHRADUN Taking a stern view on various complaints against him the State administration has suspended the Director Geology and Mining S L Patrick. During the suspension period Patrick will remain attached with the office of Secretary Mining.   In an order the additional secretary Laxman Singh said that allegations of serious nature were levelled against Patrick by one Om Prakash Tiwari. In the allegations of corruption levelled against the officer, Tiwari reportedly has submitted a WhatsApp chat with Patrick. In the suspension order the State administration has also found that Patrick was not discharging his duties properly and had a habit of delaying official works. Patrick is also charged with asking the class IV employees of the directorate to do his household works.  It is pertinent to mention here that Patrick was slated to retire in the month of June.
