Dehradun, 10 Nov: Vishwamitra Sharma was a true patriot; his family of freedom fighters bid him a final farewell!Vishwamitra Sharma, who at the age of 91 still viewed and observed the whole world with a keen mind, passed away today. A wreath-laying ceremony was held on his mortal remains, attended by many dignitaries including Dr Asha Lal, President, Women Cell, All India Freedom Fighters’ Samiti, Awdhesh Pant, National Vice President of the Indian Freedom Fighters Mahaparishad, Satyendra Singh Butola, Satyaprakash Chauhan, Rajkumar Agarwal, and Shashank Gupta.His wife, Asha Sharma, daughter of freedom fighter Babu Lal Verma, said he was a true patriot was involved in social work till his last breath.
