During the event, the CM listened to grievances and complaints of local residents and, in the presence of officials concerned, resolved most of the issues on the spot.

Addressing the gathering on this occasion, Dhami asserted that the state government’s ‘Jan Jan Ki Sarkar, Jan Jan Ke Dwar’ campaign has provided significant relief to the common people and has made the administrative system more accessible and transparent. He informed them that more than 600 camps have been organised so far under the campaign. Over five lakh citizens have participated in these camps, while more than 40,000 beneficiaries have received the direct benefit of various government schemes under this special drive. He said the objective of the Government is to ensure that residents of remote rural areas do not have to travel to district headquarters for the resolution of minor issues. For this purpose, camps are being organised in villages where grievances are addressed promptly at the local level. The CM also observed that this initiative has brought tangible relief to the public and strengthened transparency and ease of governance.
Dhami further stated that the Government has taken important decisions to expand helicopter services in the state. On this occasion, he announced that heli-services will soon be started also from the Chinyalisaur and Gauchar airstrips. Both the airstrips are proposed to be operated through the Army. The CM observed that, while the Government functions as a facilitator in organising the Yatra, the true stakeholders who make the pilgrimage successful are the local people, the priests, the hotel operators, the taxi and maxi cab drivers and others associated with the sector.
Highlighting the growing global recognition of Sanatan traditions, Dhami said that under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, India is progressing towards becoming a leading nation in the world. He claimed that Uttarakhand will play a significant role in contributing to the vision of a Developed India. Referring to women empowerment, he said the state government is continuously working to ensure that products manufactured by women gain recognition not only across the country but also internationally. At the demand of local residents, the CM assured that the upgradation of CHC Chinyalisaur and the local college would be included in the Chief Minister’s announcements.
