Chauhan asks youths to avoid political agenda trap and communicate directly with government PIONEER EDGE NEWS SERVICE/Dehradun In the matter of the Uttarakhand Subordinate Service Selection Commission (UKSSSC) paper leak, the Bharatiya Janata Party has assured the agitating students that the government will take a proper decision based on their logical and practical demands. MLA and senior party leader Munna Singh Chauhan requested the youths to not get exploited by those with a political agenda. Stating that the State government under chief minister Pushkar Singh Dhami is working in a dedicated manner to ensure the interests of the youths, he said that the strictest possible legal action will be taken against the guilty following the probe into the paper leak case. Addressing the media at the party’s State office here on Saturday, Chauhan said that the State government is committed to the successful and secure future of the youths. “Every candidate who appeared in the UKSSSC exam is a part of our family and both the party and the government are concerned for their future. In this particular case, it was not a paper leak but an alleged attempt at copying by one person in one room of one examination centre. The accused were arrested as soon as the matter came to light and a special investigation team was formed to probe the case and submit its report within a month. The examination results will not be released till the case is being investigated and the strictest legal action will be taken under the anti-copying law against anyone found guilty in the investigation,” be said. Chauhan further said that it should be ascertained in the probe whether there has been a lapse or a conspiracy. As it is not possible to confirm the facts without a proper investigation, all should cooperate in the probe. Any student, guardian or parent with any evidence, fact or information related to the case should inform the SIT about it. If one is still not satisfied the matter can be put up before the judicial commission formed in the case. It would not be correct to reach any conclusion before the investigation report is received, he said. The BJP leader also cautioned the youths against falling prey to the political conspiracies of those who are simply exploiting this case to gain political mileage.
