On the directions of the Nainital district magistrate Vandana Singh, essential services were resumed and medical stores were reopened along with the primary health centre on Sunday in the Vanbhulpura area which is under curfew. Meanwhile, chief minister Pushkar Singh Dhami reiterated that all those guilty of rioting and arson in the city on February 8 will be brought to book. He said that all the accused are being identified and being arrested one by one. The government’s campaign against illegal constructions on encroached land will continue across the State, he stressed. On Sunday, the district administration team resumed the facilitation of essential services in the Vanbhulpura area. Zonal magistrate AP Vajpayee got the essential services restored and the primary health centre in the area was also reopened for sick people. During the day, ailing one and a half year old Mohammed Izhan was taken to the clinic in Vanbhulpura for treatment and after that he was dropped home in a government vehicle. While maintaining peace, law and order the authorities are also restoring the facilitation of essential services in the area. Officials further informed that LPG cylinders from Bharat and Indane were also supplied in various localities of the curfew hit area on Sunday. On Saturday, the Kumaon Mandal Vikas Nigam had resumed supply of cooking gas cylinders in parts of the city not under curfew. Along with the supply of LPG cylinders, vegetables, milk and other essential items were also supplied in the area under curfew through vendors.
