“Hotel Industry will move forward with AI”

Dehradun, 16 Jan: Project Director of Taylor’s University, Malaysia, Dr Anshul Garg, said today that in the future the hotel industry will extensively use advanced technologies like AI and robotics.
He was addressing a seminar on the future of the hospitality sector and career prospects, organised at Graphic Era Deemed University today. Dr Anshul Garg said that robots are already being used in many hotels and very soon AI will also play a significant role. He added that the world is changing rapidly, and for holistic growth it is important to stay connected with global developments; bookish knowledge alone is not sufficient. The hotel industry is expanding rapidly, offering numerous career opportunities for skilled youth.
The seminar was jointly organised by the Hospitality Management Department and the Office of International Affairs of Graphic Era Deemed University. Head of Hospitality Management Dr Amar Dabral, along with faculty members and students, were present at the event.
