Addressing the programme, Cabinet Minister Ganesh Joshi said that modern technology is opening new avenues of opportunities in the lives of persons with disabilities. He stated that such initiatives motivate students to become self-reliant and achieve their dreams. Minister Ganesh Joshi congratulated and extended his best wishes to the officials of ONGC for this commendable initiative.
Cabinet Minister Ganesh Joshi said that Prime Minister introduced the term “Divyang” in place of “Viklang”, conveying a new message of dignity and sensitivity in society. He said that, under the leadership of the Prime Minister, several schemes are continuously being implemented for the welfare of persons with disabilities and senior citizens, with the objective of making their lives more accessible, dignified, and self-reliant.
Cabinet Minister Ganesh Joshi further stated that the state government is continuously working to ensure equal access to education, healthcare, livelihood, and social security for persons with disabilities. He added that the government’s effort is to ensure that every individual in society becomes part of the mainstream of development and progresses forward.

During the programme, Cabinet Minister Ganesh Joshi also appealed to nearly 300 employees working at the institute to observe every Friday as a “No Vehicle Day” and use bicycles or public transport. He said that this initiative would help promote environmental conservation, reduce pollution, and encourage a healthier lifestyle.
On the occasion, ONGC’s Neeraj Sharma, Principal Amit Sharma, Sanjay Nautiyal, and a large number of students were also present.
