Triple-engine government essential for holistic development in U’khand: CM – myuttarakhandnews.com | Uttarakhand News in English | Dehradun News Today| News Uttarakhand | Uttarakhand latest news

my uttarakhand news | DEHRADUN Chief minister Pushkar Singh Dhami said that the triple-engine government of Bharatiya Janata Party is essential for holistic development in Uttarakhand. He stated this while addressing public rallies in Badkot, Roorkee, Haridwar and Laksar on Tuesday on the last day of the campaign for civic elections to seek support for BJP candidates. He also held roadshows in Haridwar and Dehradun. He appealed to the public to ensure a resounding victory for BJP in the elections and back the party’s developmental agenda. In his address, Dhami emphasised that both the Central government and the State government are committed to the holistic and sustainable development of Uttarakhand. Highlighting key advancements in basic facilities like drinking water, electricity, healthcare and education, he said that these efforts have significantly improved the quality of life for the people of the State. Dhami pointed out the success of the double- engine government and its transformative impact on the State. He stated that the State has become the first in the country to launch a heli-ambulance service, a major milestone in making healthcare accessible and affordable in remote mountainous regions. He also stressed the government’s consistent efforts to preserve the cultural values of the State while fostering development. He further said that strict actions are being taken by the government against issues like religious conversions, riots and land encroachment, along with efforts to counter social evils such as spit Jihad. Dhami said that Uttarakhand is on its way to becoming the first State in India to implement the Uniform Civil Code, which would provide equal rights and duties to all citizens, fostering social harmony and equality. Taking a dig at the Congress party, Dhami accused it of indulging in politics of deceit, appeasement and confusion. He criticised the opposition for failing to address the real issues of Uttarakhand and urged the people to reject their misleading politics. Instead, he appealed to them to support the BJP to accelerate the pace of development and steer the State towards greater prosperity. Dhami called on the public to ensure an overwhelming victory for BJP in the municipal elections to keep the momentum of progress intact and help Uttarakhand achieve new heights of development.
