 PIONEEREDGE NEWS SERVICE | Dehradun  The State administration will launch a special campaign to make all the roads of the State free from potholes after the end of the monsoon period. An order in this regard was given by chief minister Pushkar Singh Dhami while presiding over a meeting of the officers of the State administration at the State secretariat on Wednesday. The CM directed the officers that they should complete the process of tenders for repair of the roads before the commencement of the campaign. On a stern note, the CM directed that strict action should be taken against those violating the law and order situation in the State. He said that regular monitoring of the sensitive areas should be done by the CCTV cameras and an intensive checking campaign should be initiated at the borders of the State. The CM also directed that the night patrolling should be made more effective. He said that service fortnight will be organised between September 17 (birthday of Prime Minister Narendra Modi) to October 2 ( Gandhi Jayanti) in the State during which programmes associated with service, awareness and public interest will be organised. He directed that a spate working plan should be prepared for every district.  Taking serious note of complaints of salt mixed with sand, the CM directed that the issue be investigated and action should be taken against the culprits. The meeting was attended by principal secretary R K  Sudhanshu, secretary Shailesh Bagauli, director general police Deepam Seth and others.
