PIONEEREDGE NEWS SERVICE | Bharadisain The State government has decided to formulate separate policies for augmenting the employment opportunities and skill development of women, youngsters and ex-servicemen. A decision in this regard was taken in the meeting of the State cabinet at Bharadisain in Chamoli on Wednesday. The youngsters will be given coaching for preparing for the government services, NEET, nursing examination and training on subjects such as artificial intelligence. Youth festivals and employment fairs will be organised on a large scale. Training to youth and women in bee culture, apple mission and horticulture will be given for creating self-employment opportunities. Under the policy the market linkages will also be provided to women entrepreneurs. The cabinet also approved the Uttarakhand Crime Victim Assistance (amendment) scheme 2025 on the day. In another decision the cabinet approved the ‘Witness protection scheme 2025’. Under the scheme security and dignity of the witness will be protected. The objective of the scheme is to ensure that the witnesses are free from any fear and pressure.
