PIONEER EDGE NEWS SERVICE | Dehradun Union Home and Cooperation minister Amit Shah was effusive in praising chief minister Pushkar Singh Dhami while addressing the Uttarakhand Investment Festival in Rudrapur in Udham Singh Nagar on Saturday. The festival was organised to celebrate the success of  Global Investors Summit held in Dehradun in December 2023 and grounding of projects worth Rs one lakh crore. Patting the back of the CM, the Union minister assured that the Modi government is standing firmly behind the Uttarakhand government in its every endeavour.  In his address, Shah remembered the valedictory ceremony of Global Investors Summit -2023 when he told the CM that the real valour is not in signing the Memorandum of Understandings (MoU) but the valour is in bringing these investment proposals on ground. Shah said that the grounding of about 30 per cent of total investment proposals is a very big achievement. The speech of the Union minister was replete with praise for Dhami. During the address Shah said, “Bringing investment into the mountainous States is like climbing a mountain. I want to congratulate CM Dhami and his team because the Rs one lakh crore investment has become a ground reality.’’  He said that CM Dhami has brought a balance between industrial development and environment and has stabilised employment, He has drawn the outline of all round development of Uttarakhand by bringing transparency in policies, expediting implementation and long term vision. In his speech Shah also mentioned about his home State Gujarat and narrated the basic points for creating an investment friendly environment in Uttarakhand.
